BY ROAD: Cerne Abbas can be easily reached by car, bus or train. See the area map below. The main car parking (and picnic) areas are well sign posted. The centre of the village is only a five minute walk via Duck Street or via the footpath beside the River Cerne. There is also limited parking in Long Street and on some of the other lanes.

BY BUS: First Southern National run a (limited) bus service between Dorchester and Sherborne which stops in Cerne Abbas. Details from 01935 476 233.
